Aurora Forecast Now

Privacy Policy

Aurora Forecast Now does not require an account for the public forecast pages. We use Cloudflare Web Analytics to count page loads and understand site performance. Its privacy-first beacon does not use cookies or local storage and does not collect information that directly identifies you.

If you request a storm alert, we store your email address, selected city, score threshold, subscription status, and relevant timestamps. Confirmation and unsubscribe tokens are stored only as one-way hashes. Resend processes each confirmation and alert email for delivery. These details are used only for the aurora alerts you requested and are never sold. Every alert email includes a one-click unsubscribe link.

Your browser stores only whether you saved or dismissed the first-visit storm reminder and, for a dismissal, when its 14-day pause ends. That prompt state never contains your email address.

Aurora Pro stores an access key and saved location names in your browser. License activation sends the access key to our Worker, which validates the dedicated Aurora product with Lemon Squeezy; the site does not return or store the checkout email. Pro funnel measurements contain only an event name, page type, and saved-location count.
